New Energy Application "Biogas"

    Biogas is a mixture of gases that can be burned.Sewage, human and animal manure,straw and other organic matter in the closed biogasdigester,underanaerobic(no oxygen)conditions,by a wide variety of biogas fermentation microorganisms decomposition and transformation,thus porducing biogas.

    Methane is the main combustion component of biogas. In addition to the main component methane, it also contains carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide and other gases, and sometimes contains advanced hydrocarbons. The composition of biogas varies with the fermentation raw materials, conditions and process flow. Under normal circumstances, the methane content is 55% to 70%, the carbon dioxide content is 25% to 40%, and the other gas content is low.

   Biogas, not only can solve people's cooking, lighting, reduce firewood felling, protect forest resources, improve the ecological environment and can change the backward rural lifestyle and rural "dirty, chaotic, poor" appearance, but also its potential multi-functional role, that is, the comprehensive utilization of biogas.

   The comprehensive utilization of biogas refers to the potential multi-functional uses of biogas and its fermentation residues (biogas residue, biogas liquid). Comprehensive utilization of biogas can make waste resources. In a rural 8 cubic meter biogas pond, as long as there is enough input of fermentation raw materials, it can continuously produce biogas and continuously discharge biogas residue and biogas liquid.

(1) Biogas is used for lighting, cooking, power generation, and can also be used for fresh fruit and food storage;

(2) biogas residue and biogas slurry can prevent and control crop diseases and insects, and can also be used as additives for pig (chicken fish, etc.);

(3) biogas residue and biogas slurry are used for planting, which not only increases production but also improves quality, and there is no poison and pollution from fertilizers and pesticides, which meets the requirements of green agriculture.

    The biogas produced by large and medium-sized biogas projects can be used for power generation. Biogas power generation is a biogas utilization technology that appears with the continuous development of the construction of large-scale biogas digesters and the comprehensive utilization of biogas. It uses the biogas generated by anaerobic fermentation treatment for the engine and is matched with a comprehensive power generation device to generate electric energy and heat energy. Biogas power generation technology provides clean energy, can make comprehensive use of organic waste, protect the environment, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and turn waste into treasure, generate a lot of heat and electricity, in line with the environmental protection concept of energy recycling, but also bring huge economic benefits.

 3. Application in planting industry

   In recent years, the "four-in-one" energy ecological vegetable greenhouse promoted in northern China is a biogas energy ecological model that organically combines planting, breeding, biomass energy utilization and solar energy utilization. The application of biogas in vegetable greenhouse mainly has two aspects: one is to use the heat released by biogas combustion to heat the greenhouse; The second is to produce CO2 as a gas fertilizer after burning biogas to promote the growth of vegetable crops. When crops synthesize organic matter through photosynthesis, CO2 is the main carbon source, and the most suitable CO2 content for crop growth is 0.11%~0.13%, while the atmospheric CO2 concentration is usually about 0.03%, so increasing the CO2 concentration in the greenhouse can promote the growth of vegetables and greatly improve the yield of vegetables.

4, the application in the breeding industry

     Biogas can be used for temperature-controlled incubation of chickens, biogas lamp breeding of chickens, biogas temperature-controlled incubation of crane scissors, biogas temperature-controlled breeding of snakes, and biogas can be applied in the breeding process to realize the recycling of waste and improve the comprehensive benefit. The application of biogas in silkworm rearing is to use biogas combustion to warm the silkworm chamber to meet the temperature requirements of silkworm rearing. Using biogas as fuel, on the one hand, reduce the amount of coal, reduce the cost of silkworm rearing, on the other hand, avoid the problems of high carbon monoxide content and unstable temperature control caused by coal heating. Biogas lamp can shorten the breeding period and improve the yield and quality of silkworm cocoons.
