Due to the low calorific value, low hydrogen content, high requirements for deep purification, large investment, and slow efficiency of the orchid charcoal tail gas, it is rarely used in the majority of small and medium-sized orchid charcoal enterprises in the market. It is commonly used for power generation with low investment and stable power generation returns, and the vast majority of small thermal power generation methods use orchid charcoal tail gas to directly burn steam and steam turbine for power generation. In the context of increasingly strict environmental requirements and the national dual carbon goals, small thermal power plants with high energy consumption, water consumption, pollution, and carbon emissions are no longer suitable for the current national low-carbon emission reduction policies. They must be replaced with lower carbon, more efficient, and cleaner power generation methods. Shengyuan Gas Power relies on the high-tech of the NPG4000 gas internal combustion engine, which is the first major technical equipment in the national energy field in 2021, to develop a high-power internal combustion generator set with blue charcoal gas. It has achieved low-carbon, efficient, and clean power generation with blue charcoal exhaust gas, which is more energy-saving, water-saving, environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and flexible to use than small thermal power. The comparison is as follows: ![]() ![]() At present, the 3MW level blue carbon exhaust internal combustion power generation has been demonstrated and applied on the 600000 ton blue carbon furnace (with a single furnace capacity of 150000 tons) of Junkai Coal Electrochemical Co., Ltd. in Shenmu City, with an installed capacity of 30MW (10 units) × 3MW), flue gas SO2 close to zero, NOX<100mg/m3, can be directly discharged without treatment, meets national emission standards, conforms to the development concept of green environmental protection, and is green electricity. We propose to promote the high-power internal combustion power generation of Lancan exhaust gas, replace the low efficiency, high energy consumption, and high emission low-grade utilization of small thermal power, achieve low-carbon, efficient, and clean utilization of Lancan exhaust gas, promote the upgrading, transformation, high-quality development, and efficient low-carbon transformation of the Lancan industry, and contribute to China's blue sky protection war, energy dual control, and carbon reduction action plan, making contributions to the national dual carbon goal.
