China actively cooperates with countries around the world in green energy projects.

At present, China's overseas investment in green and low-carbon energy has far exceeded that of traditional energy.

Forum details:

Efforts will be made to strengthen cooperation in five areas: clean and efficient utilization of energy, development of clean and low-carbon energy, innovation in energy technology, global energy governance, and global energy security, in order to jointly promote the achievement of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The theme exhibition showcased in detail the green and low-carbon pace of China's energy consumption. The proportion of clean energy consumption has increased by over 10 percentage points, from 15.5% in 2013 to 25.9% in 2022.

The proportion of non fossil energy consumption in China has increased from 9.7% in 2012 to 17.5% in 2022, supporting economic growth of over 6% per year with an average annual energy consumption growth rate of less than 3%. In addition, under the call of dual carbon, the country has actively implemented energy conservation and emission reduction, and deployed energy structure transformation. The proportion of carbon consumption has decreased from 67.4% in 2013 to 56.2% in 2022, a decrease of over 11 percentage points, supporting a reduction of over 36% in carbon dioxide emissions per unit of China's gross domestic product.

Eleven sub forums with themes such as green power trading, energy transformation investment and financing, oil and gas industry transformation, new power systems, urban energy transformation, and energy technology innovation were held simultaneously.
