Historical tracing:

The prototype of the combined cooling, heating, and power system can be traced back to the concept of "distributed energy supply system" proposed in the United States' Public Utility Management Reform Act in 1978. Afterwards, the energy supply system was promoted in the United States and subsequently accepted by other developed countries.


Overview:

The emergence of CCHP is in line with the transformation of the environment and energy supply methods. In developed countries, energy supply was previously dispersed, followed by centralized supply and now decentralized supply.


Previously, the bottlenecks in domestic triple power generation were mainly gas prices and power output methods. In the joint release of the "Guiding Opinions on the Development of Natural Gas Distributed Energy" by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, and the National Energy Administration, the central government provides appropriate support for the development of natural gas distributed energy, and provides certain investment rewards or discounts for natural gas distributed energy projects. Relevant projects can enjoy tax preferential policies. With the support of mechanisms such as "financial and tax support", "grid connection", and "demonstration projects", the cost of using gas has gradually decreased.


Under the background of "dual carbon", China's gas distributed energy has entered a stage of rapid and diversified development. Currently, there are great opportunities for the development of triple power supply, and corresponding policies have gradually been introduced for the power output mode, all of which promote the healthy development of triple power supply!

Natural gas combined cooling, heating, and power supply. It is an energy supply system that uses gas as a primary energy source, generates hot water and high-temperature exhaust gas after power generation, and utilizes them to meet the cold, hot, and electrical needs of service objects under the same time and space conditions.

As shown in the figure, the triple supply of cold and hot gas uses natural gas as the main fuel to drive the operation of gas turbines, gas internal combustion engines, micro combustion engines, and other gas power generation equipment to generate electricity. The "waste heat recovery equipment" is used to continue using the waste heat generated by the power generation to serve the target, providing heating and cooling throughout the entire process.

Future outlook points:

1. Gas distributed energy is currently one of the most efficient ways of utilizing natural gas in the world. The next five years will be a period of significant expansion of China's natural gas production scale, providing favorable conditions for the development of gas distributed energy. The regional smart energy system centered on gas distributed energy will become the best choice for China's industrial technology development zones and urban construction energy systems.
2.As early as 2018, the National Energy Administration pointed out in its "Guiding Opinions on Energy Work" that "promote the utilization of natural gas and promote the establishment of a natural gas production, supply, storage, and sales system."
